WESTFIELD STATE ATHLETES PROVIDE HOLIDAY CHEER 

Members of the Westfield State College Student-Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB) collected more than $700 from Westfield State varsity athletes to purchase Secret Santa Christmas presents for selected families of students who attend Moseley and Franklin Elementary Schools in Westfield.

The Westfield State student-athletes adopted 22 children, including 10 from the Moseley School and 12 from Franklin Avenue School, along with their younger and older siblings.

"The schools are very appreciative of the gifts and we are thrilled to help those families who are less fortunate during the the holiday season," said Nancy Bals, Westfield State assistant athletics director.
