Framingham, Mass. -Framingham State College sophomore midfielder Kayleigh Force (Leominster, Mass.)  was selected the Little East Conference (LEC) Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 11th as announced yesterday morning by Little East Director of Communications Jack Holleran.

Force recorded five points as the Rams went 2-0 last week and remain tied atop the LEC Field Hockey Standings.  Force handed out a pair of assists in the Rams victory at Western Connecticut on October 6th.  She then set up the game-winner and added an insurance goal in the Rams conference win over Eastern Connecticut on Saturday.  Force has scored at least one point in five of the Rams last six games.  After playing in the back last season, Force has taken on a greater role in the Rams' offense this season as she is fourth on the team in scoring with five goals and nine assists for 19 points.

The Rams return to action on Friday as they host LEC rival Westfield State at 4 p.m.
