Five MASCAC Student-Athletes Selected To NSCAA All-New England Region Squad, Salem State's Kizaki Earns All-America Accolades

Five MASCAC student-athletes were named on Tuesday to the 2008 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III All-New England Region team in a vote of the organization's membership.

Salem State senior midfielder Yuta Kizaki was tabbed as an NSCAA Division III First Team All-America performer after netting six goals and four assists for 16 points and leading the Vikings to a berth in the MASCAC championship match.

Framingham State sophomore forward Jason Silva joined Kizaki on the first team all-New England squad after notching 14 goals and six assists for 34 points and guiding the Rams to both the MASCAC regular season and tournament titles, while Salem State junior forward Andrew Angus earned second team all-NSCAA regional accolades after scoring 10 goals and adding six assists for 26 points.

Framingham State junior back Sean Austin was a third team all-NSCAA regional choice after helping the Rams posted 10 shutouts as a team this season, while Bridgewater State senior goalkeeper Ryan Seifert, the 2008 MASCAC Player of the Year, earned fourth team all-NSCAA regional honors after posting an 0.81 goals against average with seven shutouts for the Bears.
