Track Athlete of the Week

Andrews broke the BSU program marks in both the 60-meter hurdles and the long jump at the Wheaton Invitational. Placed first in the hurdles with a finals time of 9.10 seconds as she eclipsed the previous school standard of 9.16 seconds set last season. Finished third in the long jump with a distance of 5.35m (17’ 6.75”) as she bettered the mark of 5.26m (17’ 3.25”). Currently ranks seventh in all of Division III in the hurdles. Also ran a leg on the Bears’ 4x400-meter relay squad which posted a time of 4:01.16 to place second at the meet. The Bears’ relay team currently rank seventh in all of Division III in the 4x400.

Bennett broke her own BSU shot put mark for the second straight week as she captured the meet title at the Wheaton Invitational with a toss of 13.07m (42’ 10.75”). Currently ranks 10th in all of Division III in the shot put.

Miller captured the meet title in the 400-meter dash with a season-best time of 1:00.15 at the Wheaton Invitational. Currently ranks 28th in all of Division III in the 400. Also ran a leg on the Bears’ 4x400-meter relay squad which posted a time of 4:01.16 to place second at the meet. The Bears’ relay team currently rank seventh in all of Division III in the 4x400.
