Track Athlete of the Week
Junior • Mansfield, Mass.
Pray won the long jump and the 100 meter hurdles to lead the Westfield State women to the team title at the Jerry Gravel Classic. Crossed the line first in the 100 hurdles in a time of 15.00 seconds, and leapt 4.89m (16’ 0.50”) for first in the long jump. Pray was also part of the Owls’ winning 4x100 relay team with a time of 49.77.
Sophomore • Burlington, Mass.
McFadries helped her team to a first place finish at the Eric Loeschner Invitational as she won the javelin throw competition with a top throw of 41.20m (135’ 2”). With this result, she stands at 10th place on the NCAA Division III national list.
Freshman • Uxbridge, Mass.
Miller placed second in the 400-meter dash with a career-best time of 59.58 seconds at the Jerry Gravel Classic. Also ran a leg on the Bears’ 4x400-meter relay which record a first-place time of 4:08.01.
