Offensive Player of the Week
Andrew Foglia Plymouth State
Senior • Running Back • Montauk, N.Y.
Foote totaled 220 yards of offense and four touchdowns Saturday to
lead the Panthers to a 37-26 victory over Mount Ida on Saturday. He
rushed for 199 yards on 26 carries (7.7 avg.) and touchdown runs of
34, 6 and 15 yards. He added a 21-yard touchdown reception. His
fourth touchdown came in the fourth quarter when the Panthers were
up by just four points, solidifying the win.
Adam Straughn Worcester State
Senior • Defensive Back • Rockland, Mass.
Straughn finished with a game-high 12 tackles (10 solo), fumble
recovery and blocked extra point attempt in the third quarter for a
15-14 comeback win over WPI on Saturday.
Bobby Rosano Massachusetts Maritime
Junior • Wide Receiver • North Reading, Mass.
Rosano averaged 38.8 yards on four kickoff returns (155 total
yards), including 86-yard return for late third quarter touchdown,
that sparked Buccaneer comeback from 10-point deficit in 24-20
Chowder Bowl victory over SUNY-Maritime on Thursday. Amassed 194
total all-purpose yards, including five receptions for 39 yards,
for the contest.
Carrick Driscoll Worcester State
Freshman• Defensive Back • E. Longmeadow, Mass.
Driscoll threw an eight yard touchdown pass on a fake field
goal and triggered a fourth-quarter comeback with an interception
in the end zone in a 15-14 win over WPI on Saturday.
