Framingham's Green Earns Two Football Weekly Honors
After a strong week for Framingham State, Jalen Green was named to the D3football Team of the Week and ECAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State University freshman
running back Jalen Green (Brockton, Mass.) has been named the
D3football Team of the Week and the Eastern College Athletic
Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending
September 21st.
Earlier this week, Green was named the Massachusetts State
Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Special Team Player and the
MASCAC Football Rookie of the Week. Green earns his first ECAC and
D3football.com weekly honors in his young career after accumulating
119 yards on three punt returns.
Averaging 39.7 yards per return, he set up the Rams second
first quarter touchdown with a 49 yard return. Green then scored on
a 48 yard punt return as he scooped a bouncing punt near midfield
and raced into the end zone untouched with 3:05 left in the second
quarter of a 42-21 victory over Fitchburg State on Saturday
afternoon. Green also picked up 37 yards rushing in the game
with a long of 17 yards.
