Offensive Player of the Week
Michael Nicol Western Connecticut State
Sophomore • Quarterback • Wolcott, Conn.
Nicol amassed 315 yards of total offense and four touchdowns, including three passing touchdowns of 50, 28 and 12 yards in the Colonials' 43-28 win over Westfield State.
Ryan Quinn Massachusetts Maritime
Sophomore • Kicker • North Andover, Mass.
Quinn converted a 23-yard field goal on the game's opening drive and was perfect on all four extra point attempts in the Buccaneers' 31-21 victory at Bridgewater State. Also limited Bears to 20 total kickoff return yards on six attempts.
Svenn Jacobson Framingham State
Freshman • Linebacker • Cumberland, Maine
Jacobson tallied seven tackles (five solo), recorded a sack that led to a fumble that led to and touchdown and also intercepted a pass in the Rams' 29-14 win over Worcester State.
