Dante Aviles-Santos and JP Mason of UMass Dartmouth along with Willie Lombard of Plymouth State and Colby Pires of Westfield State take home the MASCAC Football Offensive, Defensive, Special Teams and Rookie of the Week after opening weekend of conference play.

Offensive Player of the Week |
| Aviles-Santos threw for 321 yards and four touchdowns while completing 18-of-36 passes and adding 22 yards on the ground in the Corsairs’ 46-21 win over preseason favorite Framingham State. Threw touchdown passes of 24, 22, 23 and 50 yards all in the first half in the win. |

Defensive Player of the Week |
| Mason finished with 10 tackles (five solo), a forced fumble and two pass breakups in the Corsairs’ 46-21 win over Framingham State. |

Special Teams Player of the Week |

Lombard racked up 299 all-purpose yards, including a 90-yard kickoff return touchdown, as the Panthers rallied for a 41-34 win over Bridgewater State on Saturday. Lombard amassed 186 kickoff yards to go with 55 yards rushing (10 carries) and 58 yards receiving (four catches). His 90-yard kickoff return helped PSU erase a 28-21 deficit in the third quarter.

Rookie of the Week |

Pires completed 24-of-37 passes (64.9%) for 262 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Owls’ 34-20 setback to WestConn. His 24 completions is the third-best single game in Owls’s school history. Threw touchdown passes of 19 and 11 yards.
