WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The nominees from Week 3 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week on the MASCAC Twitter account (https://twitter.com/mascacsports)! Voting is open until Wednesday at 2 pm. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Wednesday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Framingham StateBack to receive the kickoff, Framingham State's Jaden Lewis fields it cleanly then takes off. He heads down field and jukes past the first set of defenders. Just when it looks like he will be taken down, Lewis makes his way out of the scrum and avoids another defender before taking it 90 yards for the kickoff return. |
Play No. 2 - Plymouth StateWillie Lombard was back to field the kickoff for the Panthers and makes the catch. He races downfield and out runs the defense and turns on the after burners to go 90 yards in the come from behind 41-34 win for Plymouth State. |

Play No. 3 - UMass DartmouthCorsairs quarterback Dante Aviles-Santos sends a pass to the waiting Angel Sanchez who out leaps the defender then heads down the sideline before juking past two defenders to take it 50 yards for the score in the 46-21 victory. |
Play No. 4 - Worcester StateDropping back to pass, Worcester State QB Aaron-Moses Williams scampers out of the pocket and throws a pass off his back foot to Dylan Hall who outleaps the defender for the 21 yard score in the Lancers' 56-10 win. |
