WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The nominees from Week 5 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week on the MASCAC Twitter account (https://twitter.com/mascacsports)! Voting is open until Thursday at 2 pm. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Wednesday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Bridgewater StateWith a few minutes remaining in the game, Bridgewater State's Trevor Nunes takes the handoff and weaves through defenders avoiding tackles before a little bounce off a teammate propels him downfield 29 yards for the touchdown in the Bears' victory. |
Play No. 2 - Mass. MaritimeMass. Maritime QB Marc Murphy takes the snap, the rush coming from the right, he rolls to the left, sees James Cassidy downfield, throws on the run! Cassidy dives and it's caught for the touchdown in the Bucs' win. |
