WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The nominees from Week 8 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week on the MASCAC Twitter account (https://twitter.com/mascacsports)! Voting is open until Wednesday at 2 pm. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Wednesday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Bridgewater StateDrew Donovan waits for the punt and makes the catch out of the reach of the kicking team. He then weaves his way downfield before taking off towards the endzone for the 52 yard punt return for a touchdown in the Bears' win. |
Play No. 2 - Plymouth StatePlymouth State DB Gustavo Regalado reads the pass perfectly and jumps in front of the receiver then takes it downfield all the way for the 63 yard interception touchdown return in the Panthers' win. |

Play No. 3 - Westfield StateWestfield State QB Gabriel Fernandez drops back to pass and finds a wide open Jordan Smith who easily outraces the defense before a defender tries to stop him short of the endzone but is unsuccesful in the 79 touchdown score for the Owls. |
Play No. 4 - Worcester StateLancer QB Aaron-Moses Williams drops back to pass and pitches it downfield to Brodie Jacques who makes the catch just out of the reach of the defender then weaves across the field before getting in just as he was being taken down for the 68 yard score. |
