WESTFIELD, Mass. -- 25 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference field hockey student-athletes were named to the Division III National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Academic Squad. 

Representing three schools in the conference on this year's team are Kelly Finn, Kaitlyn Silva, Erin Martin, Mallory Griczika, Jessica Lawrence, Emily Petit and Alyssa Wyson of Fitchburg State, Holly Brouillette, Kelsey Carpenter, Amanda Daly, Meg Doherty, Lauren Drew, Cara Dunbar, Megan Fountaine, Kelly Kenney, Tory Levite, Sam Power, Ashley Spindel, Jill Valley and Alexa Whitney of Westfield State and Alli Baker, Amanda Turnbull, Krissy Kenney, Erika Lepkowski and Megan Ripke of Worcester State.

The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the fall semester of the 2013-14 academic year.

Fitchburg State and Westfield State were also recognized with the NFCHA Division III National Academic Team award for finishing the season with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
