The Bridgewater State duo of Samantha Souza and Brianna Gagnon earn the MASCAC Field Hockey Offensive, Rookie and Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Souza found the back of the net in all three games in a perfect 3-0 week for the Bears. Potted the game-winning goal in a 2-1 MASCAC win over Salem State and notched the difference goal in the 4-1 victory over Worcester State. Also scored in a 3-1 non-conference win over UMass Dartmouth. |

Gagnon went 3-0 between the pipes for the Bears with 18 saves, and an .857 save percentage to go along with a 1.00 goals against average. Made eight saves in a 2-1 MASCAC win at Salem State University, and turned aside five shots in a key 4-1 victory over Worcester State.
