MASCAC Men's Basketball Weekly Report 11/15
Brendon Hamilton of Westfield State and Ivan Nyantenji of Framingham State claim the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honors after averaging double digits points last week in their non-league games.

| Hamilton averaged 25 points and 17.5 rebounds while shooting 63 percent from the floor and 86 percent from the foul line at the Rick Martin/Hampton Inn Tournament to earn Tournament MVP honors. Had a 32-point, 22-rebound effort in the title game win over William-Paterson University. Added 18 points and 13 rebounds in the 110-76 win over Northern Vermont University-Lyndon. Currently ranked third in the nation in rebounding at 15.8 per game. |
Rookie of the Week
Ivan Nyantenji, Framingham State
Freshman, Guard, Nashua, NH
Nyantenji averaged 15.7 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 60 percent
(18-30) from the field in a 1-2 week for the Rams. Tallied 24 points,
five rebounds and three steals while going 10-of-11 from the field
in the 92-61 win over Curry College and added 18 points, including
4-of-5 from beyond the arc, six rebounds and two assists in the
62-51 setback at Emmanuel College.
