Joe Thomson of Westfield State and Joe Okla of Worcester State take home the MASCAC Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week after earning the one and two seed in the upcoming tournament.

Thomson averaged 17 points and 15.5 rebounds per game while shooting 56.5 percent from the floor (13-23) as the Owls wrapped up the MASCAC regular season title with a pair of conference wins. Scored 22 points and grabbed 15 boards in a 84-77 win over Salem State, and added 12 points and 16 rebounds in a 90-87 win over Fitchburg State in the regular season finale. Weekly Report 2/23 |

Rookie of the Week |

Okla averaged 13.5 points,13.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and a steal in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Had a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds in the 94-92 win over Anna Maria. Followed it up with another double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds while shooting 70 percent from the floor (6-8) with five assists and two steals in the 96-87 win over Bridgewater State.
