In the first men's golf weekly awards of the 2023 season, Springfield's Nick DeMaio and MCLA's Matt Gover take home the MASCAC Men's Golf Athlete and Rookie of the Week honors.

DeMaio finished tied for 38th at the Duke Nelson Invitational over the weekend. His tournament was highlighted by a second round score of 71, one of the lowest of the entire weekend, as he posted five birdies and eight pars on Sunday. He had a two-day total of 151. |

Rookie of the Week |
|
Gover finished in second place with an even par 72 at the New England College Invitational held at the Country Club of New Hampshire while also leading the Trailblazers to a second place finish in the team competition. |
