The Bridgewater State trio of Matthew Mooney, Corey Stalters and Joshua Cardichon take home the MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field weekly awards.

Mooney captured top honors in the 100-meter dash and placed second in the 200-meter dash as he posted career-best times in both events last Friday at the BSU Bears Invitational. Recorded a winning time of 11.00 seconds in the 100 and 21.96 seconds in the 200. Currently ranks 8th in the East Region in the 200 and 14th in the 100. |

Stalters captured the meet title in the javelin at the BSU Bears Invitational with a toss of 224 feet, one inch (68.30m) as he was just four inches shy of his own school record (224’5”/68.40m) set two weeks earlier at the Emory Thrills in the Hills. His winning toss at the BSU Bears Invitational would rank third in all of Division III. Weekly Report 4/15 |
Men's Outdoor Rookie of the Week
Joshua Cardichon, Bridgewater State
Freshman, Brockton, Mass.
Cardichon placed third in the 200-meter dash with a PR of 22.39 seconds and ninth in the 100-meter
dash with a PR of 11.42 seconds last Friday at the BSU Bears Invitational. Currently ranks 18th in the
East Region in the 200.
