Four Student-Athletes Compete at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

Bourassa led the way for the Falcons, placing second overall in javelin with a toss of 73.55 meters to earn First Team All-American honors in the javelin, while finishing tenth overall in the hammer throw with a toss of 57.37 meters to collected Second Team All-American Accolades in the hammer throw. Liam's toss in the javelin was the fourth best throw in NCAA DIII history. Guevara Mateo was also solid for the Green and Gold, finishing 18th overall in the 10,000 meter with a time of 30:26.23.
Inacio finished 16th in the preliminaries of the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.97 seconds. The top sprinter from each of the three heats in the 100 plus the next six fastest times advancd to Saturday's finals.
Placewinners nine to 16 earn USTFCCCA All-America Second Team accolades while the top eight garner first team honors.
Lee wrapped up an outstanding four-year career with the Owls with a 21st-place result in the long jump. She jumped 4.99 meters (16"-4.5") on her first jump of the meet but fouled on her next two attempts and was not among the nine athletes to advance to the finals.
