Men's Outdoor Track Athlete and Rookie of the Week
Paulino Guevara Mateo, Fitchburg State
Freshman, Cambridge, Mass.

Guevara Mateo placed second overall in the 10,000 meter with an All-New England qualifying and new school record time of 30:12.15 for the Falcons at the 2026 Silfen Invite, hosted by Connecticut College. Guevara surpassed the previous record held by Paul McGovern. Currently 20th nationally in the event.

Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Joseph Tully, Mass. Maritime
Sophomore, E. Bridgewater, Mass.

Tully won the men’s high jump at the Regis Spring Classic on Friday with a mark of 1.95 meters. He followed up that performance with another win in the high jump on Saturday at the Silfin Invitational at Conn College with a mark of personal best jump of 1.98 meters. Currently 44th nationally in the high jump.
