Softball Weekly Award Winners 4/28
Kristen McKenzie of Salem State and Amber White of Bridgewater State have earned the softball weekly awards for the final week of the regular season.

Kristin McKenzie Salem State Freshman • C • Arlington, Mass. McKenzie batted .611 (11-18) with three doubles, eight RBI and a slugging percentage of .778 in a 3-1 week for the Vikings. Went 3-4 with two RBI in a win over UMass Boston and went a combined 4-6 with a double and three RBI in a doubleheader split with Worcester State.

White went 3-0 with three complete games, two shutouts, 17 strikeouts and a 0.00 earned run average in 23 innings of work. Tossed shutouts in both ends of a doubleheader sweep of Fitchburg State, 2-0 and 2-1 (9 innings). Also gave up one unearned run in a 2-1 win over MCLA.
