Vartuli tossed a complete game shutout in the Owls' 2-0 win over Geneva (Pa.) College, allowing five hits and three walks while striking out five. She hasn’t allowed an earned run in 17 IP so far this spring, a big part of the reason the Owls return from Florida with a 12-0 record. Weekly Report 3/23 |

Schaeffer tossed a five-inning no hitter in the Owls’ 15-0 win over St. Joseph’s University of Brooklyn. She walked one and fanned three in the winning effort - part of a second straight no-hitter as she combined with Cassidy Wallner for a no-hitter in her previous start. Schaeffer is 3-0 with a 0.47 era through four appearances this season. Weekly Report 3/23 |
