MASCAC Softball Weekly Awards 5/4
Sarah Hough of Westfield State, Olivia Hargreaves of Bridgewater State and Nevaeh Lopez of MCLA take home the MASCAC Softball Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week honors.

Hough finished with three hits, including with a double, three RBI, two runs scored and a .778 slugging percentage as the Owls clinched the regular season title and the #1 seed in the conference tournament. Collected two hits, a double and a run batted in as the Owls clinched in the 7-4 win over Salem State, then launched a two-run homer to start the scoring in the season finale victory over the Vikings. |

Hargreaves tossed her first collegiate no-hitter in the Bears’ 5-0 MASCAC win over Anna Maria College to wrap up regular season play. Walked two and struck out seven in the victory over the AMCATS. Retired the side in order in the second, third, fifth, sixth and seventh innings. Weekly Report 5/4 |

Rookie of the Week |

Lopez batted .538 (7-for-13) with three doubles, two RBI, two walks and four runs scored as well as a .563 on base percentage and .692 slugging percentage helping MCLA to a 2-2 week. Went 5-for-6 with a double, 2 RBI, a walk and two runs in a non-conference sweep at Union College. Had a pair of hits including a double, along with a walk and 2 runs in the regular season ending doubleheader vs. Worcester State. Weekly Report 5/4 |
