The Westfield State duo of Melissa Gray and Lila Labrie claim the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week accolades after going 2-1 in non-conference play last week.

Gray averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and 4.7 steals per game in a 2-1 week for the Owls. Connected for 28 points and 13 rebounds in the Owls’ 82-63 win over New England College, then added 19 points, nine rebounds and seven steals in the setback to Springfield College. Capped the week with 17 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the 84-63 win over Mitchell College. |

Labrie averaged 9.3 points, two rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals in a 2-1 week for the Owls. Netted a collegiate best 12 points and handed out four assists in an 84-63 win over Mitchell College while shooting 2-5 from 3 point range. |
