Bridgewater State to Face St. Joseph's (ME) in First Round of NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament
After winning the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday, the Bridgewater State Bears were picked to play St. Joseph's (ME) in the opening round of the 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.

After winning the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday, the Bridgewater State Bears were picked to play St. Joseph's (ME) in the opening round of the 2015 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
The Bears (12-8, 5-2 MASCAC) earned the MASCAC automatic qualifier into the tournament on Saturday with a thrilling 13-12 overtime victory over Westfield State. This is the sixth straight time the team will be making an appearance in the NCAA Tournament and the seventh time in program history.
Bridgewater State will meet the Monks of St. Joseph's (ME) out of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference who earned their league's automatic bid with a 10-3 victory over Lasell College in the championship game. The Monks (17-1, 9-0 GNAC) earned their first conference title in the history of the program.
The game will be played on Saturday, May 9 at 1 pm hosted by Bowdoin. The winner will face off with Bowdoin on Sunday, May 10 at 1 pm.
