Bridgewater State Seeks Repeat as 2025 MASCAC Women’s Soccer Preseason Favorites
2024 MASCAC Regular Season and Tournament Champion Bridgewater State has been picked by the coaches from around the league to repeat as champions during the 2025 season in this year’s preseason poll.

Westfield, Mass.— 2024 MASCAC Regular Season and Tournament Champion Bridgewater State has been picked by the coaches from around the league to repeat as champions during the 2025 season in this year’s preseason poll.
The Bears landed in first with six first place votes. The team was 6-0-1 in MASCAC play last season. Last year’s tournament MVP Olivia Robarge returns for Bridgewater State after she finished second in the MASCAC with 14 goals and fourth with 32 points while assisting on four goals with game-winners to grab a spot on the All-Conference squad.
In the second spot is Westfield State with two first place votes. The Owls had a 6-1 record during league play last season. Kiana Muratsuka grabbed her second All-Conference honor after she led the MASCAC with 12 assists while also finishing in a tie for third place in the league with 11 goals to tally 34 points and adding three game-winning scores.
Worcester State comes in third with the final first place vote. The Lancers were 4-2-1 during the 2024 conference slate. Between the pipes, Ella Gumienny earned All-Conference honors after she stopped 110 shots with a 1.14 goals against average, .846 save percentage and 10 shutouts.
Sitting in fourth is Fitchburg State. The Falcons were 3-3-1 during MASCAC play last season. Adrianna Westcott concluded the 2024 campaign as the go to scoring option for the Falcons with a team-best six goals and 13 points with one assist. She also had a .521 shot on goal percentage with 25 shots on goal to grab a spot on the All-Conference team.
Salem State is next in fifth. The Vikings had two wins and two ties in conference action in 2024. Goalie Ava Guyer was in the top three of the league in total saves (132) and save percentage (.835) and fifth in GAA (1.52) while registering five shutouts.
Coming in sixth is Framingham State. Returning for the Rams is Hailey Ring who in her first season netted five goals and an assist for 11 points plus two game-winning tallies.
Mass. Maritime claims the seventh spot in this year’s poll. In her first season with the Bucs, Karah Deveau led the team with five goals and two assists for 12 points on 17 shots while netting a game-winner.
Finishing out the 2025 women’s soccer poll in seventh and eighth are MCLA and Anna Maria, respectively. For the Trailblazers, Mallory Amirian is back after she led the MASCAC in saves with 169 while registering a 3.94 GAA and a .797 save percentage. The AMCATS in their first season in the MASCAC look to midfielder Abigail Smith who netted two goals, including a game-winner during the 2024 season.
