Naomi Cass and Savana Malo of Bridgewater State along with Eliza Lee of Westfield State claim the MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field weekly award honorees.

Cass captured top honors in the elite 10,000-meter run this past weekend at the Connecticut College Silfen Invitational with a career-best time of 36:02.48. She was less than 13 seconds shy of BSU Hall of Famer Molly Rouillard’s school record time of 35:49.99. Currently ranks 20th in all of Division III in the 10,000 and first in the East Region. |

Lee secured three event wins in the long jump, triple jump, and the 200. In the long jump, she recorded a mark of 5.57m which places her 14th on the national outdoor qualifying list. In the triple jump, she recorded a distance of 11.35m and also remains 18th on the national outdoor qualifying list, then tacked on a 26.91 second-time in the 200 at the Jerry Gravel Classic. Malo finished 11th in the long jump (16’7.75”/5.07m), 14th in the 100-meter dash (12.86) and 17th in the 200-meter dash (26.74) this past weekend at the Tufts Spring Invitational. Her time in the 200 marked a personal-best. |
