Anna Szymanski of Framingham State repeats as the MASCAC Volleyball Player of the Week while Allie Hill of Westfield State grabs the Rookie of the Week honor after the start of conference play last week.

Player of the Week
Anna Szymanski, Framingham State
Junior, Outside Hitter, Harwinton, Conn.

Szymanski averaged 17.3 kills and 11.3 digs per match in a 1-2 week for the Rams. Tallied 19 kills and nine digs in the 3-2 win over Worcester State and 20 kills and 16 digs in the five-set loss to Mitchell College. Closed week with 13 kills and nine digs in the five-set setback to St. Joseph’s College (ME).

Rookie of the Week
Allie Hill, Westfield State
First Year, Libero, St. Clair Shores, Mich.

Hill averaged 16 digs along with seven assists and six services aces in four matches for the Owls. Registered 14 digs with four aces and three assists in the 3-1 conference-opening win over Worcester State. Collected 22 digs and an assist in the 3-1 setback to Rivier University.
