MASCAC Women's Volleyball Weekly Awards 11/17
Lily Welch of Bridgewater State and Kristina Santiago-Alers of Framingham State claim the MASCAC Women's Volleyball Offensive, Defensive, and Rookie of the Week honors after competing in the conference tournament.

Welch, the MASCAC Tournament MVP, averaged 18 kills and posted a .413 hitting percentage during the Bears tournament title run. Also averaged 1.5 aces, 24 receptions, 14.5 digs and five blocks. Notched 17 kills, two aces, 32 receptions, 14 digs and six assisted blocks in a 3-2 semifinal round win over Worcester State. Recorded a career-high 19 kills to go along with an ace, 16 receptions, 15 digs and four blocks (one solo) in a 3-1 championship game victory over Framingham State. |

Rookie of the Week |

Santiago-Alers totaled 45 digs (3.75 per set) with three service aces and two assists during the Rams MASCAC Tournament run. Finished with 17 digs and two aces in the five set semifinal win over Westfield State. Added 20 digs in the 3-1 championship setback to Bridgewater State. Weekly Report 11/17 |
